August has been really into building towers with anything he can find. His latest masterpieces have included this block tower, yogurt cup towers and an amazing french fry tower at Eat n Park.

Ayvind prefers crashing the towers.

Dirds

Auggie loves the penguins at the Aviary. He and Ayvind call them "dirds" and like all birds they say "hoo hoo". (They also really like owls).

Finn and Randy went through a hay tunnel at Soergel's. Finn had the flashlight and was much faster.

Ayvind rode a pony at Soergel's. He was indifferent.

Finn is being a T Rex for Halloween this year. She gave her costume a test run at the Zoo Boo this weekend. It worked out well for her.

Working on Finn's jack-o-lantern. She picked out the biggest pumpkin they had, it weighed as much as her. She wanted to give it a "very very scary face."

And there it is, very very scary (and funny, according to Auggie).
